Christians, should a religion devoted to a man/God who broke down cultural barriers now defend/build them?

The culture wars that conservative politicians would have Christians wage on atheists, Muslims and other religious minorities, feminists, gays, the ACLU, the UN, judges who decide cases against them, liberals, illegal immigrants, Hollywood, artists perceived as "anti-Christian", and so on don't seem to be in the spirit of Jesus.
