Husband cheated, now my sex drive is through the roof?

Eight days ago I found some old emails between my husband and his high school sweetheart. Old as in 2 years ago. High school as in 10 years ago. We were married at the time and I knew he had found her and was talking to her. At the time, I wasn't bothered too much by it. He told me that he loved me and that nothing was going on. Reading these emails, I can see it was more of an emotional affair and some make-out sessions but no sex. It went on for about 2 months. I was devastated by the deception and the passion he felt towards her. I'm now insecure which is perfectly normal. What has really shocked both of us is my libido is the highest it's ever been. We average 2-3 times a week. Now I'm initiating sex every day, sometimes multiple times. He thinks maybe subconsciously I feel I need to ensure my man is satisfied so he doesn't wander. Thoughts? Other theories?
