Can a person suck your energy just by standing next to you?

I get this experience sometimes with some people, I don't know if it is because i don't like them and I'm just closing myself so that I don't get connected with them. Like I never liked to be close to my dad because he was always so negative and would ruin my good mood. Also often when my older sister is standing close to me I get the sensation that my energy is drained, and she is always invading my personal space and following me like some puppy, I think she is stealing my energy subconsciously. Anyway she doesn't produce and give enough energy, she is kind of passive and doesn't have a charge in her voice when she talks, I think she is needy person. I used to be very needy person and I always felt drained of energy because I fantasized and masturbated my brain too much with lust, but after I realized what I was doing I changed and found out how to be more energetic, but I still feel like some people are draining my energy. Could it be true? Is there a way to become immune to this?
