Do you think hugs with the opposite gender can be a bit awkward?

Just because you are going up against the other person's chest, and that has always kind of made it awkward for me as a woman. I never really think of it, but I am always subconsciously aware of it. Have any of you women or men ever thought of this in the back of your head?
